Photo WALKshop: Blue Hour

Capture the special blue hour light in this photography course in Bristol

Spiegelung auf Wasser, hier im Hafenbecken von Booten und Häusern

There is extraordinary blue light that appears at dawn and dusk, known as the blue hour. Do you want to know how to use it for amazing atmospheric cityscapes? Then this photography course in Bristol is for you.

If you tried taking pictures at this time maybe your pictures were too dark, not sharp, had insufficient contrast, overblown street lights etc? Maybe you don’t know when the best light is, so it’s gone before you start?

Come with me on a photography WALKshop at Bristol’s harbourside to overcome all of those problems. We will have fun creating cityscapes using the amazing light at the blue hour in the late afternoon and evening.

I originally come from a science and teaching background. Moving on to being a specialised landscape photographer was the best decision ever. I have subsequently won a few prizes and exhibited my photos in several galleries.

Coming from outside Bristol I am able to take a fresh look at very well known places. However, I have lived in Bristol long enough to know some hidden gems. Students praise me for being practical and giving explanations without unnecessary technical terms.
